Rachel Duggins - Counsellor

Rachel Duggins

I am an integrative counsellor, working within a person-centred framework, drawing on different approaches, to look at personal problems and the possibility of change, in a way that is respectful and empathetic yet empowering.

About Me

I provide a safe, confidential space where a client is supported and accepted without being judged, in a way that values diversity and is culturally sensitive. My aim is to work in a way that best suits you. I have worked with people who have experienced bereavement, alcohol and substance misuse problems, domestic violence, loss of employment, relationship problems, depression, abuse, bullying, questions regarding sexuality, and isolation.

During the first session, we will be able to meet and talk about what you would like to gain from counselling. You will be able to ask questions and experience how counselling works. Normally counselling lasts for one hour per week, but it can be arranged less frequently if needed. It can be for a one-off session, or more frequently. It can continue for weeks ormonths, depending on what you feel you need.
